Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. As a child, she was exposed to many classical music and old boleros. Also, she listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other dramatic shows. Her mother taught her to sing, but she began more intensive singing lessons through Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. the singer was famous as a Mexican opera tenor. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous chamber and opera choirs. After moving in the United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she relocated to Southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a musician and teacher she has volunteered for numerous community projects because of her love and enthusiasm for music. Ana was a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank Inland Master Chorale members for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
