Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. After relocating to Oxfordshire around the age of five, she enrolled in The Dragon School. Emma had a dream to become an actor from the age of aged six. She studied at Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford which is an acting academy with part-time courses. The actress had performed in several Stagecoach and school productions before she turned ten. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000), the movie version of J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was first cast for first time at the beginning of 1999. Casting agents discovered Emma via her Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman told Emma along with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe after they all had eight consecutive auditions. Emma's debut film appearance came with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the year 2001. The film broke all records in terms of opening day and weekend numbers, and was the highest-grossing film of 2001. Critics were impressed with the film and its performance. The Daily Telegraph, an important British newspaper, called Emma's performances "amazing". Emma's performance was recognized and won five awards later for the movie.
