MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen him break into mainstream Latin music. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in the year 2017. The singer released his first long-player ADN to the Medellin-based company Sony, which is distributed by La Industria Inc. The album peaked at the rank of eight spots on the Top Latin Albums charts. The following year he joined Ozuna in their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He also collaborated on a track with Noriel to record Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He the following year released his sophomore album the charting Dopamina. He appeared in 2021 in a duet with TINI for her hit stream single Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge song La Bachata appeared in 2023. His mother and brother were musicians at the time they were born. According to Turizo, music was a fundamental part of his life. In his early years, he learned to play ukulele, saxophone as well as piano. His first career choice was to be a veterinarian But his older brother Julian was able to convince him to sing by working with an instructor from a Cuban teacher. The result was discovering that he had talents for singing, changed the direction of his life.
