Christopher Robert Evans, born on June 13, 1981 is an American actress. His career began with television acting roles, notably Opposite Sext, which he portrayed in 2000. Evans gained acclaim for his performance as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007. Evans played in various film adaptations of comics and graphic novels, like TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) and Snowpiercer (2013). Evans' portrayal as Steve Rogers/Captain America appeared in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 in 2015,), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame 2019, brought him more recognition. He was one of the top-paid actors worldwide due to his role in the Marvel franchise.
